I was recently approached by the lovely people of Specsavers, they asked me to try their service and review. To be fair it couldn’t have come at a better time. An eye test has been well over due for me, and by well overdue I mean about 6 years.
It was all very easy and straight forward, I booked in here and they had an availability for me that day. I’m a tad squeamish when it comes to eyes and my initial reaction is to run a mile from something that is coming that close in contact. I have to admit it was different here, even though they were very busy they were patient and talked through every step. The lady who did my exam (Catriona) was so patient and lovely it made the whole experience way better.
That’s what your getting really, a very personal experience which for a chain brand I have to admit I wasn’t expecting. But I was wrong, every person that I encountered in the branch really took care of you.
After that was the fun part, the glasses selection!
I went with an Armani pair from the designer collection. I love a big frame but if they don’t tickle your fancy they have a great designer selection to pick from here.
So in Summary, Specsavers outdid themselves. Their customer service is second to none and their selection of frames is ever growing. The best part? I have 20/20 vision now and it’s amazing!!

This is a shoot I styled way back in the Summer just before Arnotts launched their Shoe Garden. Haven’t been? You really are missing out, it’s shoe heaven. Photography by Emily Quinn.

Ever felt inferior in the style stakes? Well here is a toddler with a Chanel bag. I’m pretty sure I had a Zig and Zag jumper at this age, a far cry from Chanel. Oh well, shes too cute for words and rocking the beanie and clutch combo. Oh, she’s also Alexander Wang’s niece.

This years Christmas wishlist is a little less excessive, No Chanel in sight. I’m having a bit of a love affair with Etsy at the minute, where basically everything is from! The grey boots are going to be my next treat, Kurt Geiger knows how to make a great clunky/chunky / ugly boot, all the things I want in one! The pug, as you may have gathered from earlier posts I’m obsessed.
