A red Pepelum skirt..

For such a colourful piece I’ll be wearing this statement skirt to it’s death this S/S12. It’s a linen mix beauty from one of my favorite stores Zara. I know what I’ll be wearing this weekend to dinner!

Have a super weekend y’all!

LSAD Contour show..

There is nothing more exciting for the Irish Fashion Industry than when a new group of students enter the industry from college. Their approach is new, fresh and exciting and it turns things on it’s head ( for the better of course). I was speaking to the show organiser of this years LSAD fashion students degree show and popped over the the page, I was totally blown away.

Feast your fashion hungry eyes on a small selection of what will be on show on May 17th..

These cool cats are all set to pave a new path in Irish Fashion and could we really ask for a better bunch? The versatility is incredible and each designer has really found their feet in their own style reflecting it in outstandingly crafted garments.

So join in on the fun and get your tickets here, but be quick they are nearly all gone!

Congratulations to the class of 2012!

My love for sequins reached a new lengthened obsession with this dress, oh I do love me a bit of sparkle!

101/102 Dalmatians were my favourite movies growing up. On a recent trip to the Disney shop I spotted a stuffed animal version, cue the childhood memories!:)

Every girl loves some flowers, right?

This is a beautiful little place in the Phoenix Park making for a very lovely Sunday:)

Not very surprising that shoes will make some sort of an appearance! I actually adore these bad boys from River Island. They have a hidden wedge and are very Isabelle Marant-esq, comfort and style boxes ticked!

Printed knit..

I’m kind of in love with this jumper from Topshop, cosy but cute! Prints and pattern’s  like this were seen all over the catwalks for S/S12..get on the print band wagon!

Happy Tuesday! x

It’s a PJ party..

This season Designers made PJ style trousers and jackets so beautiful they couldn’t be kept in the bedroom. I picked up these Beauties in Warehouse. They are insanely comfortable like PJ’s, give a nod to the must have trend this season and I still feel like I’m wearing trousers. Ticking all the boxes!

Urban shoot

Last week an edit of this shoot that I did with John Scully was featured in the Saturday Independent. It’s a chilled out urban vibe giving a nod to some seasonal trends in a paired back way..

Enable Ireland and TK Maxx “Give up clothes for good”..

If you have picked up the most recent copy of U Magazine you may have seen my smiley head! It was all for Enable Ireland who  have teamed up with TK Maxx to encourage the generous people across the isle (That’s you) to “Give up clothes for good”, a bi-annual initiative.

It’s pretty simple really, bring your unwanted clothes and homeware into one of 16 TK Maxx stores natiowide throughout April and play your part in this great cause! Enable Ireland provides free and invaluable services to children and adults with disabilities and their families nationwide working with them on a plan for each life stage.

Above I’m holding two pieces that I gave to the cause. First is my beloved Lanvin for H&M t-shirt. Lanvin was one of the first designers that grasped my attention and may be even one of reasons I became so interested in fashion at all. When I discovered Alber Elbaz was designing a collection for H&M last year I figured all my dreams came true. I snapped up this crazy t-shirt adorned in tulle, sequins and big bows and well, everything but the kitchen sink. Hey, fashion is supposed to be fun, Right? My second item is the first pair of skinny jeans I ever bought. I live in skinny jeans now so these were the start of what blossomed into a beautiful friendship between me and tighter fitting denim. It was also about the time when I really came into my own style and having a great pair of skinny jeans in my wardrobe meant there was something to always fall back on!

So who is going to join me in filling up a bag of clothes from our wardrobes for a good cause?

Neon on Neon..

As I said in my previous post I’m trying to introduce more colour to my wardrobe! So why not a little bit of neon on neon with my t-shirt and bag? Happy  Friday everyone:) x

Print, colour pop and a pencil skirt…

I’m making an effort to pull myself away from all that is lacking colour in my wardrobe. I’m in LOVE with this jacket from River Island, just the right amount of print to be paired with a little colour and then something to pair it all back. I popped on this vibrant red tube skirt and a grey sweat shirt to get the sports luxe feel just right. Plus, these hidden heel wedges are a god-send, adding an extra couple of inches to my height but who has to know? ( apart from everyone reading this, but Shhhhh!!!)

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! Hope everyone has a super weekend and eats so much chocolate that you have serious regrets come Tuesday morning!
