For a low key lady like look this Spring/Summer look no further than the pastel trend. It’s soft and easier to achieve than that of the colour blocking trend of really saturated hues. Think feminine chic, paired back colour pops and you are on the right track. Chanel, Preen and Valentino are my main inspirations for the trend, really hitting the pastel nail on the head. Again, the highstreet has really put every effort in bringing this still to their customer. Look to Zara and Topshop for the best catwalk inspired pieces and Penny’s and River Island for great trousers, shoes and jackets.

The peplum was a feature brought to the forefront in the shows of Yves Saint Lauren, Giorgio Armani and Jason Wu to name a few. A short flare of material that sits on the natural waistline not only gives a great shape to all figures but it adds instant glamour to any mundane outfit. Whether you choose to go for the trend in the version of a skirt, top or dress, the highstreet is flooded with options at the minute! Check out River Island, Topshop and H&M for some great pieces.
Turns out the future is bright and yes, the future is orange. This spring summer if their is one colour that you should be looking to invest in it’s tangerine. Although tangerine was the most prominent shade of orange that graced the runway there are many other hues that proving to be just as popular. See some of the beautiful pieces below to gather some colourful inspiration for your next trip to the shops..
I love this dress from Topshop Boutique. Its oversized for real comfort and the material is super soft! I added this jacket to nip in the waist a bit and these boots and chain to add a bit of fun! Happy Friday peeps! X
