I love my black turban and have figured it is perfect in this weather. It’s not as unbearably roasters as a woolen one, it wont blow off in an unexpected gust of wind like a rafia one and its super comfy!
It came out of the wardrobe for my cousin’s going away party. She is going to Kuala Lumpar and i felt it was the nearest fitting item i had to give a nod to the style of Malaysia.
The weather forced me to bring out my cape, but when paired with socks and a sheer dress (With a slip mind) it regained it’s cool factor!

The fabrics were twisted, turned, curled and clinched at A.F Vandervrosts A/W show. The collection seemed unpredictable at times but somehow it all worked. It tied together perfectly. Rough knits, wonderful tailoring and bias cut silk gowns, Somehow Vandervrost made it all seem perfectly natural! There was another dimension to the show however, as each model approached middle of the runway she paused and revealed a “Bustle/tail feather”. Newspaper apparently was used to give volume to garments and you could catch a glimpse of newspaper in the version of rolled sleeves. Much more than a collection, this designer seemed to put on a show with a sense of mystery.
Peculiar androgyny is Acne’s signature style and this did not differ this season. Chunky, functional shapes were matched with fluid, floor-length skirts or patched with metallic leather. Burgundy, dusty pink, mustard, and olive was the colour palette and they appeared in cropped trousers, vests and even over sized biker jackets. It was a elegant / boyish affair.
